Process Paper
By Eli Taylor
Section 1
The first stage of every project is the plan. For this particular project, we had to in some way make a difference. I was thinking at that time about places close to my house that I could donate to. In a class discussion, the Five-12 foundation was mentioned. Because I live very close to it, I decided that I would make a difference by helping out at Five-12.
Section 2
As I was looking through pictures and quotes as well as actually volunteering, I did learn a lot. Most people don’t think too much about problems that they don’t face. When you actually are working on something related with one of these problems, you understand it more fully by the end. I learned that there are way more people starving than we think.
Section 3
The project honestly went mostly smooth for me. The only part where there was an obstacle, was when I was working on my website. The obstacle was my willpower to keep going and working. That feeling of fighting myself probably encouraged me to get it done faster.
Section 4
This project very well relates to the make a difference theme. Volunteering my time to help kids without any food, to get it. What this comes down to is I was helping stop child hunger in my community. All the time I have spent on this project has been very much worth it.
